Opening Day Shines Bright
Saturday, Jun 1st, 2019 was used as an opportunity to showcase our wonderful club and have members of the public come out to try our facilities and talk to our pros and board about all the great programming we have to offer. Our original date selected, May 25th, was rained out, but on this day it was a very pleasant and warm 22C.
Thank you to Regional councillor/Deputy Mayor Don Hamilton for attending and presenting an Opening Day certificate from Mayor Frank Scarpitti.
We had a good attendance with about 70 adults and 20 juniors enjoying drop-in play on all courts. Garry, Dave & Alena ran the BBQ with lots of food for everyone.
