
High-Performance Summer Tennis
This Academy is for players of all ages. Factors such as UTR (Universal Tennis Rating), national ranking, OTA ranking, tactical and technical competencies, and physical fitness level are all considered for admittance into this program. Players in this program are also supplementing their group training with private lessons and off-court physical training and have an annual plan with our coaching staff.
MTC High-Performance Academy will operate through the summer season with a 3-hour intensive training option during July and August. The MTC High-Performance Academy will focus on nationally/provincially ranked juniors looking to train in the fundamentals within a systematic developmental training environment. The weekly curriculum includes technical, tactical, physical, and psychological training to help develop the complete player.

Time / Schedule​
Our new, redesigned HP camp schedule is designed to maximize the time players spend on court. We also focus a lot on competitive matchplay and tactical development to ensure players are always sharpening the skills they will apply in tournaments.
1:00 pm - Warm-Up
Players arrive and begin their on-court dynamic warm-up to prepare for the session.
1:15 - 2:15 pm - Tennis Warm up and Situational Points
Focus on timing to improve rhythm and consistency.
Tactical points that align with the theme of the day.
2:15 - 3:45 pm - Competitive Play
Competitive match play in with various constraints and focus to apply learned tactics.
3:45 - 4:00 pm - Cool Down & Recovery
Cooldown, foam rolling, and stretching to aid recovery and prevent injury.
Focus on proper recovery techniques to maintain peak performance for the next session.
